What is included in a Spiti serviced house?
We offer serviced houses with a fully equipped kitchen, home appliances, bedding & towels and free Wifi. Compared to an average hotel room, you will have much more space and privacy while still getting 24/7 access to the assistance of a Spiti Insider.
Do you provide daily cleaning service?
To leave you the freedom to manage your space as you please, we do not provide daily cleaning service in your house. A complimentary full cleaning is offered when you stay more than 6 nights. Unlike your usual hotel experience, a stay at Spiti feels like having your own place in the village. So, you won’t need to put up a ‘do not disturb’ sign to keep our cleaning staff out.
If you wish though to have your house cleaned, you can request an extra partial cleaning at any time. The cleaning will be arranged based on availability, for no an extra cleaning fee.

Partial cleaning: Τidying up the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen, not changing the linen and towels
Amenities
Is Wifi available?
High speed WiFi is available in all our houses, free of charge.
Do I have a fully equipped kitchen?
Yes! Every Spiti house has a fully equipped kitchen. There’s all you need for comfortable (local) living and a pleasant stay. Let’s cook!
Do I need to pack a hairdryer?
Save the space in your luggage for souvenirs! Hairdryers are available in every apartment, free of charge.
Can I iron my clothes?
Yes! You will find an iron and ironing board in all our houses. Could the home feeling be any more real?
Are toiletries provided?
All Elemis set, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner and body lotion are provided, as well as rolls of toilet paper.
Do you provide a baby cot and high chair?
We love travelling families! A baby cot and high chair package can be requested for children aged 2 years or younger, free of charge.
Can I request an extra bed?
Unfortunately, additional beds cannot be added.
Do you provide breakfast?
Your Spiti house is self-catered. This means that we provide a fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare your favourite breakfast with local ingredients. If you feel like treating yourself, ask your Spiti Insider or check your Spiti village Guide for the best breakfast and brunch places around the village.
Are drinks provided?
Spiti is a great base to explore all the special places in the village where you can enjoy local drinks. In your house you will find coffee, tea, sugar.
What else is provided?
Your house includes enough coffee, tea, cleaning tools, dishwasher soap and laundry soap for a short stay.
House policies
How old do I have to be to book a house with Spiti?
The minimum age requirement to book an apartment is 18-year-old.
Can I bring my pet with me?
We’re sorry, but our general policy does not allow pets in our properties. The main reason is that pet hair is very difficult to clean thoroughly and may cause discomfort to future guests. Thank you very much for your understanding.
How many people can stay in my apartment?
The number of people allowed in your house is indicated in the apartment information at the time of booking. For your own safety and that of others, local regulations and company policies do not allow more people and we are very strict on these police.
Are children allowed at every property?
Spiti is a family-friendly place and children are welcome at every location.
Do you offer different rates for adults and children?
We don’t charge for children under 16 years of age. Please note that guests exceeding the maximum occupancy indicated at the time of booking will not be allowed in the apartment.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is forbidden in any house. Please exit the house if you want to smoke. Every house has a beautiful patio where you can smoke. Do not throw cigarettes on the ground.
Payment policies
When do I pay for my stay?
If you are booking through Booking or Airbnb, you pay them direct when you book.
If you are booking directly, we are offering you 10% discount! We will ask for 25% deposit and the rest 75% on your arrival day.
Please note: if a payment is not processed within terms, your booking will not be confirmed.
How can I pay?
We will provide you with banking details or simple Revolut transfer.
How can I request an invoice for my payment?
Invoice can send to your email upon request.
Arrival & Departure
How do I check-in for a Spiti place?
A few days prior to your arrival you’ll receive an email with all the information you need about the house and the area. Its super nice before you even set foot in Kathikas you could already know the best insider tips.
Our Spiti insiders will welcome you upon arrival in our homebase and show you the house you will be staying.

What time is check-in?
Standard check-in time is from 3pm for all
Spiti Insiders are on-site 24/7, so you can arrive at any time after this.
What time is check-out?
Our standard check-out time is 12 noon at all our houses.
Spiti insiders are on-site 24/7, so feel free to leave at any time before that.
Can I store my luggage before arrival or after departure?
Yes, we have luggage storage available. You may use it both before and after your stay with us.
