Refund and Cancellation Policy

  1. Overview

This policy sets out the terms under which bookings at Spiti Kathikas may be cancelled and refunds issued. By completing a booking with us, you agree to the terms below.

  1. Cancellation by the Guest

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email to info@spiti.com.cy. The following cancellation terms apply:

Refund Entitlement

30 days or more

Full refund of the amount paid

15 to 29 days

50% refund of the total booking value

14 days or fewer

No refund

The date of cancellation is the date on which we receive your written cancellation request.

  1. Deposit Payments

Where a deposit has been paid to secure a booking, the deposit is non-refundable if the cancellation occurs within 14 days of the arrival date. If cancelled with 30 or more days’ notice, the deposit is fully refundable.

  1. Cancellation by Spiti Kathikas

In exceptional and unforeseen circumstances (e.g. property becoming uninhabitable, force majeure events, natural disasters), we reserve the right to cancel a booking. In such cases, guests will receive a full refund of all amounts paid. We will not be liable for any additional costs such as travel, flights, or other arrangements made by the guest.

  1. No-Show Policy

If a guest fails to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notification, this will be treated as a cancellation with no refund due.

  1. Early Departure

No refunds are issued for early departures. The full booking amount remains payable.

  1. How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used at the time of booking. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card provider. Refunds are processed in Euros (€).

  1. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

We encourage guests to contact us directly at info@spiti.com.cy before initiating a chargeback with their bank or card provider. We are committed to resolving any concerns promptly and fairly.

  1. Changes to Bookings

Requests to change booking dates are subject to availability and must be made at least 15 days before the original arrival date. Date changes are not guaranteed and are treated as a new booking where applicable.
